When the Status LED is on constantly, the datalogger is indicating that it cannot save data.

Possible causes are:

  • The SD card is not inserted completely
  • The SD card is bad and needs to be replaced
  • The database file "ORFIDB.BIN" is bad
  • The database file "ORFIDB.BIN" is has been erased

Make sure the card is seated correctly. If that is not the problem, use the command DR to list the directory and see if ORFIDB.BIN is on the card. If it is missing, create a new one with the FRD command. If the file is there then file has been corrupted and you should contact us for assistance.
